By registering, engineers confirm that the details submitted are accurate and that each selected PIA certification is currently held by them.

Directory Listings

PIA Register may publish the engineer's full legal name, home town, current work status, open-to-work availability and selected PIA certifications after an admin review. Listings may be rejected, removed or corrected where information appears inaccurate, unlawful, duplicated or out of date.

Engineer Responsibility

Engineers are responsible for maintaining valid certifications, complying with applicable safety rules, and updating their listing when their circumstances change.

Directory User Responsibility

Directory users should carry out their own checks before engaging an engineer, including verification of current accreditation, identity, insurance, right to work and project suitability.

Organisation And Independence

PIA Register is a non-commercial, not-for-profit organisation with no shareholders. It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Openreach.

Publication in the directory, admin review, acceptance of a listing, or display of engineer information does not mean PIA Register approves, sponsors, endorses, recommends, guarantees or certifies any engineer, business, service, work, certification, claim or outcome.

Liability

The directory is provided for general information only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PIA Register accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, cost, claim, dispute, injury, delay, defective work, failed engagement, inaccurate listing information, expired certification, or other issue arising from use of the directory or from contact with, reliance on, or engagement of any listed engineer.
